Dear Brother,
It was nice getting to spend time with you the other day. I’m glad aunt V and mom decided to invite you to the party. I’m happy to hear that you’ve found yourself a job, and a car. I realize you still have a long way to go, but it’s good to see you going in the right direction. Soon you will be able to see your son again, he misses you as much as I do… even more. He is growing taller and taller each day, he has to be the tallest 3 year old I’ve ever seen. But then, he is your son. And he’s smart too, I take it he got that from his mother. 
I hope the next time we meet there will have been even more improvement.
